Beautiful Miss. Charlotte is a 5 year old Alpine Doe and is the absolute sweetest, most gentle soul on the farm. Charlotte is one of our original 4 girls that came to the farm back in early 2014 when she was just a few days old. From the very beginning, we could tell she was something special!As a kid, she was so playful but always sought out a cozy lap for a nap. She loved her snuggle time and always looked for human affection. As she got bigger, naps had to move outside of the lap, but she was still happy just being close by.
Charlotte is always the first girl to come say good morning. While everyone else has their head in the hay, she sneaks her way over and quietly demands her lovin's. And watch out... she's a leaner!!! If you're not ready for it, she can knock you right over. Oh, and she loves a good butt scratch!
To say Charlotte is a great mother would be a gross understatement. This girl always has the healthiest, fattest kids. I guess when you make a gallon of milk a day; fat, healthy kids is easy to achieve. Charlotte is such a great mother that she regularly adopts other's kids and takes them for walks around the paddock and even allows them to nurse off her. When she lays down for a nap, she allows the kids to jump all over her like a jungle gym while she just closes her eyes and chews her cud without a care in the world.
She has done well in the show ring with our son Tyler. They work hard together leading up to the show. Charlotte shows a lot of patience with him as he learns to clip her and get her show-ready. She is lazy in the show ring but when she decides to actually walk, does well.
Charlotte has so much love to give and looooves to receive!!!
