Syman Says Farms LLC WAIVER and RELEASE
I am participating in a Syman Says Farms LLC (“SSF”) event, training, class, function, or activity (“Activity”) taking place at the SSF farm, located at 279 Buckley Road in Salem, Connecticut. I recognize and acknowledge that the Activity will take place in close proximity to live animals. I further recognize and acknowledge that serving as a guest, customer, volunteer or visitor at SSF may pose certain risks to me, including but not limited to inherent risks associated with the specific Activity, or live animals. I assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with the Activity. In assuming these risks and signing this Waiver and Release, I am acting freely and entirely upon my own initiative, risk, and responsibility. When I am on-site at the SSF farm, I agree to comply with applicable SSF policies and directives regarding conduct on those premises, such as safety rules and regulations. My physical condition is such that, to the best of my knowledge, it is safe for me to participate in the Activity. If I am over 18 years of age and accompanied by minors at the Activity, I understand and agree that at all times, I will be responsible for the close supervision of those minors.
The SSF staff takes no responsibility for the supervision or wellbeing of the minors that have accompanied me. I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless SSF, its trustees, officers, agents, servants and employees, from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, judgments and legal fees whatsoever which I may have, now have or which may accrue in my favor in the future on account of any loss, damage or injury to person (including death) or to property, regardless of the cause thereof, incurred, arising out of or in connection with any aspect of the visit/activity/event, my participation in the event, training, class, function, etc. including but not limited to E. coli O157:H7, Cryptosporodium, Covid-19 and Salmonella. I hereby irrevocably grant to SSF the non-exclusive right, but not the obligation, to record my likeness and image while I am participating in an Activity, and to use my name, likeness and image in all media worldwide, in perpetuity, for SSF educational and promotional purposes. This Waiver and Release shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to Connecticut’s choice-of-law rules, and shall be binding upon me, my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have read and understand this Waiver and Release and have duly signed it as of the date written below.
