It's been nearly 2 years since our hearts were shattered with the tragic passing of Moo Moo Marie. There's not a day that goes by that I don't feel the massive hole in my heart she left behind. After her passing, we used our stock of frozen goat milk meant for soaps, lotions, etc. for her babies, Winnie & Winston. Because we always put babies over business. I had thought we used it all. It wasn't until 6 or so months later that Aaron felt it was a good time to tell me we still had some of her milk in the freezer. This milk also contains milk from our retired girls Lucy, Sadie, Charlotte, Dee & Amy.
Working with Moo brought me so much joy. She was a goat, yes... but she was more than that to so many people. She was my heart-goat, my colleague, my creative director... my joy... dare I say, my favorite. I knew this milk had to be used in the most special of projects. So I sat on the milk for about 18 months before my heart was ready to go through the whole creative process. This is that last piece of Moo after all. Once the milk is gone, it's gone.
I wanted to create something that represented Moo and what she meant to all of us. She was one of the main goats that brought us all together and what makes W&W so special to us. She has left us with her legacy... in Winnie, Winston, Meena, Finley and their future babies. They are her Legacy of Love and this soap represents them all.
So I ultimately decided on roses because of Moo's purple roses I planted in her memory. Also, because of Winnie's love of eating said roses. Black and White represents her unique cow pattern as well as all of her offspring. One of my favorite parts of Moo was her kissable pink nose and lips. The soap was simply beautiful but it was perfect once the pink sugar beads were subtly sprinkled on top. The golden beads represent her presence in Heaven while the purple base represents our Villagers which supports and holds up the entire soap.

To extend the life of your soap keep it dry between uses by using a draining soap dish and avoiding streams of water. We recommend using one of our slotted, wooden soap dishes as they keep your bar up off the counter and out of water puddles.
