Every bottle of lotion, every bar of soap, every lip balm that leaves our farm starts in the same place: with our goats.
We think you should meet them.
A Farm Built on Chaos (the Good Kind)
Syman Says Farms didn't start as a skincare company. It started as a love of animals, a passion for farming, and a herd of goats that had a lot of opinions about everything. If you've ever spent time around goats, you know — they are characters. Stubborn, curious, hilarious, and surprisingly affectionate.
Our herd includes Toggenburgs and LaManchas, two breeds known for their exceptional milk production and, frankly, their big personalities. You may have already met some of them if you've browsed our Roll-on Perfumes — yes, many of our scents are named after real members of our herd.
Danica: The Queen
Every herd has a queen, and ours is Danica. A Toggenburg doe with a regal bearing and absolutely zero patience for nonsense, Danica runs the pasture with an iron hoof. She's also one of our best milkers — and her milk goes straight into products like our Lavender Chamomile Goat Milk Soap and Lavender Chamomile Goat Milk Lotion. We named our Danica Grace Roll-on Perfume after her — because she deserves it.
Poppy: The Miracle Baby
Some animals come into your life and change everything. Poppy — our “Miracle Baby” — was born under circumstances that made us hold our breath. She wasn't supposed to make it. She did, and she's been proving people wrong ever since. Poppy went on to win multiple junior goat shows and became one of the most beloved members of our herd. She's the reason we believe in fighting for the underdog (or under-goat, as the case may be).
Genevieve: The Bottle Baby
Genevieve came to us as a bottle baby — which means she was hand-raised by us from the very beginning. If you've ever bottle-fed a baby goat, you know the bond that creates. Genevieve has never forgotten it. She's the first one to the fence when you walk out to the pasture, and she shares a birthday with one of our family members, which makes her extra special.
What Fresh Goat Milk Actually Means
Here's something most goat milk skincare brands won't tell you: a lot of them use powdered goat milk. It's cheaper, easier to ship, and has a longer shelf life. We don't use it.
Every product we make uses fresh milk from our own herd, processed within days of milking. Fresh goat milk retains more of its natural vitamins, fatty acids, and lactic acid than reconstituted powder — and your skin can tell the difference.
When you use our Oatmeal Milk & Honey Goat Milk Soap or our Naked Goat Unscented Soap, you're getting the real thing. Milk from goats we know by name, raised on a farm we love.
Come Visit
If you want to meet the herd in person, we'd love to have you. Our Private 1.5-Hour Goat Farm Experience lets you spend real time with the goats — feeding them, snuggling the babies, and seeing exactly where your skincare comes from. It's one of our favorite things to share with people.
Because when you know the story behind what you put on your skin, it means a little more.
